Someone had to do it.


This is the same thing as Joe Cool's "Crazyland" modification of CostaRica Nord, but extended to the limit (Hex FF) horizontally as well as vertically for a total 255x255 tile area (it is possible to place two of these in a scenario side by side, completely bridging the width of the map). As well, this island presses right up to the edge all the way around with not a tile wasted. The island sports four ( ! ) huge 6x6 mountains dead centre of the island, situated so that a crossroad can be built, affording access to the full range of mining exploitation, although just reaching the mountains from the coast will take a Herculean effort.


This huge land mass pushes to the limits of what is possible and offers new potential challenges for creative city-builders. Both Northern and Southern versions included. Cheers to Joe Cool for the original concept.


Next up I will post a blank 255x255 open water map for those who want to doodle in the larger space without all this Crazyland/CostaRica legacy. Look for it as "Huge Canvas."
